“I’m Walter Lee, former School Superintendent for Caddo & Desoto Parish for a total of 37 years, in addition to that, I was an elected member of the State Board of Education representing 10 parishes in North West Louisiana for 22 years, so a career almost a lifetime in public education. I’m very pleased to recommend a person that I think is the right person for the State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) for District #4.
Paige Hoffpauir is a citizen of Caddo, a resident, a business person, but more than anything, she is a conservative Christian with conservative values that believes that public education should be in the hands of the parents and teachers and not politicians and bureaucrats. She is not supported by any PAC that would influence her and other candidates likely might be.
Again, I’m Walter Lee and because of Paige’s commitment to children, to families, to parents and to the American Way of life as we have known it through the years and by the constitution, Paige is the right person for the 4th District for the State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education.
